Silk specialise in designing individual 'made to measure' wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses, ball gowns and special occasion outfits such as Mother of the Bride or Groom.

The owner is dress designer Julie Mayers who has been designing bespoke bridal and ball gowns for many years for clients from all over the country. This bespoke service is now available to all under the label 'Silk Designer Dresses'. If you are looking for a beautiful unique gown to suit your exact requirements this is the service for you!  We can design and create your dress within weeks (work load permitting).  We are located in Neath near Swansea.

Proms & Ball Gowns
If you are looking for the dress of your dreams that will be gorgeous and different to everyone else's outfit then we can help!  We can design and make your perfect Prom Dress in the material and colour of your choice.  We can also provide matching jewellery if needed.

Wedding Dresses
We can design and make your perfect wedding dress including matching accessories.  We use the finest materials and we work with you to ensure that the design is exactly what you wanted.  We also make bridesmaids dresses, Mother of the Bride and Groom outfits and matching waistcoats and cravats for the Groom and Ushers.  

Designer Jewellery & Accessories
We also design and create a range of beautiful accessories including handbags, jewellery and shawls.  We also sell gorgeous accessories to complete your outfit including designer tiaras and jewellery.
